Thanks! I'd not get demotivated from the concept of freelancing. Upwork does not speak on behalf of the freelancing world. I'd learn from this. I'd diversify my freelancing accounts on different platforms. One of the comments here said something perfect about you taking full control is actually the best thing to do.

Since you'll work in SEO, possibly invest a tiny amount on marketing your self via Behance, Pinterest, Linkedin, and all other channels.

My mistake was me relying 100% on Upwork for all those years.
