Thanks!
I don’t think it would have been wrong. In my particular case, and my particular mindset, the amount of time that would be consumed in talking to those advisors, and how I am branded in front of them as they could potentially be either my clients or people I work with in this business scene; this equation was just not worth it.
Its the right thing to do, but the alternative, which is ensuring this never happens again, and focusing on signing new clients was to me the wisest approach had my bluff not worked at that time.
Of course, I thought I was bluffing then. However, its very possible that the feeling of guilt of this happening to someone else would take control of me later on, leading me to actually speak to the advisors.
Finally, I was their consultant, they made a mistake, I would not want to be harming their company (which is exactly what I would be doing if I had talked to the advisors, and got them demotivated about the company.)
What I can tell you for certain is that I am very much, as you can tell by this reply, unaware of what I might have done.
Thanks again!
